One day , the father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to the country with the express purpose of showing him how poor people live.
They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be considered a very poor family.
On their return from their trip , the father asked his son , "How was the trip?"
"It was great , Dad."
"Did you see how poor people live?" the father asked.
"Oh yeah , " said the son.
"So , tell me , what did you learn from the trip?" asked the father.
The son answered:
"I saw that we have one dog and they had four.
We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden and they have a creek that has no end.
We have imported lanterns in our garden and they have the stars at night.
Our patio reaches to the front yard and they have the whole horizon.
We have a small piece of land to live on and they have fields that go beyond our sight.
We have servants who serve us , but they serve others.
We buy our food , but they grow theirs.
We have walls around our property to protect us , they have friends to protect them."
The boy's father was speechless.
Then his son added , "Thanks Dad for showing me how poor we are."
Isn't perspective a wonderful thing? Makes you wonder what would happen if we all gave thanks for everything we have, instead of worrying about what we don't have.

反省的开始

好久没上部落格了。
今天送完妈上机场回程时想了点事，把它记下。
我的父母亲为了我们姐弟俩真是伤透脑筋了，爸还挨得满身病痛，妈也忧心得很。
我很心疼，我最珍贵的家人。
可是每当和他们相处时，肯定会气到或是把他们给弄伤心，我这不肖子。
今天想了想，我应迁就他们，孝顺他们，而不是只让自己那无知与自以为是的态度去相对他们。
我明白了，你们从来都不曾阻止我要做的事，就算多困难你们也会一直支持我，而我却只想着自己。
你们的爱远远超过我所为的孝顺，我真得要好好反省，学习父母对子女的爱去爱我的父母！
我不再象小孩般得乱发脾气，不再不再自以为是的对待你们。
家人就是我最重要的生命。

It's been awhile I didn't update my blog, was busy to celebrate the Chinese New Year.

I have upgraded my position to be an UNCLE!
Back to 21st January, my sister just delivered a new born baby girl. She is so cute.

Before the day I back to Sandakan to celebrate Chinese New Year, I drove all the way to HUKM and give my niece a photo shoot, so I can show to my parent and all the relatives. Of cause, to you guys too! Let see the cutie!

A quick update on heihei recent life

Hold her with my arms, I can feel the weight is increased.
May be she has too much good feeding recently and less exercise.
Sound like talking myself. :P

She has some changes in her personality,
1 Well-behaved - She doesn't bark or cry anymore when I go to work ,but this only happen when I carry my bag and it's just work on monday to friday, I think she knows how to differentiate weekday and weekend.

2 Sleep on time - She goes to bed after 11 o'clock, and before that she must ask me to play with her.

3 Addicted to TV show - She watchs tv.

4 Cut down to one-time licking - When I wake up later than her, she will jump on to my bed and come near to my face then lick on my lips. Is better than before, she licks my whole face. It was wet! Oh dear, my cutie little baby.

Ok, I said quick update, need to go back to work.

Saw this while I was rushing work in the office, quickly finished up the work and packed my laptop.
Checked their operating hours for weekdays are from 8.30am to 8pm. Left office at 7.30pm. Luckily the highway was not crowded at the moment, managed to reach Peremba Square within 20 minutes, run to the counter and wait for my turn.

After a few minutes, I finally got my baby back. Yohoo....
then I ask the counter person, what cause this problem ah? she gave me an unexpected answer, 'eh...this problem very hard to define one, especially for camera'.
Deeeee, I thought only me can answer people like that, what the point I sent the camera back to the service center. -_-"

Here I want to mention, Canon can gives a good service, but not a good answer :P

Reunion Day!

Yesterday was the reunion day according to lunar calendar, we called it 'dong zi' or 'guo dong'. It is the biggest day for chinese, and all the family member will gather together to have dinner or lunch, just like the chinese new year eve.

I have not go back to my hometown to celebrate this day with my parent since 2003, because I was studying and now i'm working in KL, so there are no such holiday for me to go back, but it's doesn't matter....we can call each other via mobile phone , or webcam...now!!

Even i'm young, but i take this special day seriously, so me and gf were cooking at home and invited her sisters and brothers came to our apartment to enjoy the meal together, we have a great time!

I hope next year, i have a chance to go back to my hometown and have a good meal with my parent, miss them so much!

At last of cause we cooked the special dessert 'tong yuen'! It's in ball shape and in traditional way there are just two colors, one is in white color, it means silver, and the other one is in red color, it means gold, so combine them means 'gam ngan'(Gold&Silver) in chinese, people said it is a wish to bring you wealth. Hahaha..I heard this from some people, don't know is true or not, but it makes sense!

Fire trucks

Last night, an unit around my apartment fired, i was wondering how it started.
I didn't hear any alarm rang, luckily that time still not too late, it was around 9 something, some people realize the incident happen so they were trying to shout loud to get all the residents went out from the building.

After awhile, the '1st' fire truck arrived and the fireman start to fight with the fire, just a few minutes the fire is under control already.

I know this is nothing worth to mention, but there are something more interesting to share about this incident.

After 10 minutes, there 2 more fire trucks came at the same time, then after about 10 minutes again, the 4th fire truck arrived, I was wondering why so many fire trucks come but there just only one room get fire, so I just went in to my house for about half an hour, when I came out again, there already 5 fire trucks here. See, how helpful is our Malaysia Bomba. No lah, just a praise to them only, I think because too many people report at the same time, so the efficient call-centre abit messy lo.

It was about the time to fall sick, I really beh tahan the crazy hot weather recently in KL, and I'm not able to stop myself to eat those 'hot' food, that's why I got fever. Couldn't sleep at night and suffered for the whole day, force myself to take one day leave and rest at home, I say rest means really rest, I woke up in the morning for a while then went sleep again until the sunset, the sleeping make me felt backache when I woke up, may be I 'stick' with the bed for too long time.

But there were something that I rarely see from my balcony, it was the perfect sunset view, so I quickly grab my camera and snap it.....

I'm feeling better now, and I miss the sunset from the balcony :)

I'm here to introduce my new partner - XPS!

Just got this for a week time, quite happy with the performance and friendly design.
This is my 1st owned laptop, hope I can work faster with him, and thanks for the old Dell Inspiron, thanks for pushing me to get him! :P

I have done a photoshop experimental in both machine, the old one take about half and hour to finish, but the new one just take 5 minutes... aiyo... I love him so much, and he will be helping me to edit alot alot alot photographs!!

Immerser Company trip

25th September 2008 was our company trip to Phuket island. Before the night, we got the delayed flight sms from the airline company, so we thought our departure time from Malaysia has changed to 9pm from 2pm. Felt quite bad at the moment, so I didn't pack my stuff before the night, I planned to do it in the next morning.
What a big suprise in the next morning, I received apple's call, she said we've made a big mistake, the delayed fight is the one depart from Phuket island, not today one....DDDDDDDDD...... Then we have to quikly pack-up the luggage and go to airport individually.
Luckily we reached there on-time, but then come to check-in, one of our colleague's passport left out 5 months to expired, and the counter said she couldn't check-in, omg...what a big suprise again.......fortunately, she managed to get through from the other counter which specially for this kind of case, I was asking myself, what a good day hah?!
Finally, everything is settle, we have reached Phuket island safely and enjoy our holiday in the island....

Had a short trip back to the hometown last week for sister's wedding dinner(female edition). That was a fun trip but tired, and this is my 1st experience to be a wedding dinner photographer, so worth to note it down.

The camera is slightly heavy and I was running around in the dinner, couldn't enjoy the meal even I was sitting in the host's table, that was tired. During the dinner, we had alot of fun, I'm so happy to meet our long-time-no-see relatives and friends, so the happening neh...

I meet my cousin, and I just knew that he is also a photographer, he taught me some photo shooting skills, I appreciate that! :)

My sister's wedding event is coming on this weekend, this is the actual day, hope I can get more better shots and wish them "A long-lasting love"!

It's a long time I didn't mention about the cutie in my blog, I means my pet, she just recovered from the skin allergy, brought her to consulted the vet last week, and come back with alot medication in pill. It really hard to feed the medication, so I cook the dog food and squeeze the pill in water base, then mix into the food and con her to eat, but that's work. Seem like everything is getting better now, she also getting lively and energetic. But..no more chicken to her, she allergic with chicken made food.

It was a great time to shoot fireworks in a decent angle. After work we stuck for an hour of bad traffic from kelana jaya to putrajaya, finally we reached the PICC at 8 o'clock, the gemilang bridge still opened and we managed to find a great point to set up our gears. Then we were standing there for 2 hours, this is still ok, I saw so many people came earlier than us and they already wait for 3 to 4 hours, my god! It was getting crowded when the time getting closer to 10 o'clock.

Finally it was start! The fireworks is awesome, and everybody eyes are focusing to the same area, so adorable! That was great...great...

Aiya...it's actually very hard to describe using text base, lets go and check it out!

Last Sunday, I went to Putrajaya for a fireworks shooting session. That was my 1st experience on shooting fireworks, at that moment I feel so excited, but once the fireworks start, it was raining at the same time. I was so mad and disappointed, but I still managed to capture few shots(I know my shot are crap), the outcome was me and my camera both get wet. #%^&*&%@$...whatever, I will go again tonight for the final competition, hope to get more shots and lets share with you :)

Ghost Festival

Today is a GHOST festival in Chinese region, Lunar's calender is 14th of July.
Chinese people will have a good dinner tonight just to gather everyone in the family to get back home earlier, after the dinner they will burn the 'hell note', the house or any accessories that make by the paper, just like the Chinese people praying.

Mum said once you start to pray and burn those hell note things, then have to do it every single year in the future, unless you moved.

I'm a Chinese, so I believe today is a 'Get Home Earlier Festival' or 'No Late Work Festival' or 'No Nightlife Festival'. Whatever, just faster finish the work then get back home earlier. I think tonight gonna see alot people burning stuff along the road side.

Fun night in the funfair

It's been a month didn't update my blog, was busy to get money for repayment my monthly installment...I hate credit card!!!

Whatever, it's time to put something here.
Few weeks ago, we (me, yap and apple) were decided to pay a visit to the euro funfair that located opposite my apartment. So, delay and delay....finally both of us were there on the Sunday night.

When we were there, I feel like going back to the childhood, and we felt damn excited because of the ferris wheel! (actually nothing to be excited because it's just a ferris wheel -.-')

After entered to the funfair, we quickly go and research which game should play or can play (can't play because too stimulate, we are old!) and then we decided 2 persons play then 1 person carry all the gears(our cameras).

So I chose the "Challenger"(one of the game in the theme park) to warm myself up for the night, after I went then only I regret, that wasn't a game to warm up, my god, it was crazy, just feel like want to die when I was up there (I swore not to play again for life, because i'm memang ah bet already), me and apple were shouting from start to the end, how terrible neh!

After that was yap and apple turn to play the bomb bomb car, so funny when I saw them to drive (they can be the "BEST" driver in the world, keep rotating in the corner...hahahaha...), so bad, sorry guys... :P

Few rounds of the games, we start to walk around the theme park and bring back some shots of the funfair night. Time pass so fast, we were there for 4 hours. OK..i think i talk too much already, time to enjoy some of my shots!

My problem

I'm tired, but can't get into sleep. Some bad feeling keep bothering in my mind.
I found that I'm bad in sociality, it's doesn't means I don't make friends, just I don't get used to it, may be I'm a lousy person from a lousy place...

Today I feel bad, I treat you as a friend, but I think you don't do the same to me, I feel like being fooled. I hate people who don't keep their promises, even just a minor minor thing, I'm always taking it so serious.

Or may be you don't take me as a friend, I'm just a 'backup' person?
How this 'backup' works? Like promise to have a dinner with me, but at the end everything is changed, is without asking me but just change the plan, and you think you don't hurt me just to ask me go along with your new plan, but I do get hurt. I feel bad, I feel hurt, but I can't do anything, just that I don't wish to see you feel bad as well. Why don't you just tell me that you will be busy, and cancel the dinner, then you go and find your own FRIENDS, since you care others people more than me.

I keep it, I get used to it, it's not the 1st time, but you never treasure that our friendship. I never speak that out, I'm feeling so sad that you never ever realize you are actually hurting me.

I don't ask any return from you, but just wish that you can keep your promise, I'm a guy but I have feeling as well.

I don't have alot friends, and I don't know who can I talk to, here the only place I can voice out some of my inside feeling. Tonight I really really feel hurt and bad that make me can't sleep at all... sigh....

I feel that we have less and less thing to talk, is that I'm going to expired in your list?

Having a bad mood recently, feeling uncomfortable with everything, can't be happy like always. Something happened to me, and i don't know what can i do...

I know if i keep thinking, that wasn't a good idea, so i'm trying to laugh, trying to work, trying not to let myself free and i'm trying to eat alot. but....THAT'S WORK!

I can feel better right now, as least the mans around me won't know that i'm not happy. Actually i don't like to share my problem with friends or family, but also depends the situation, i will only share with you when i think it should be. I know sharing is caring, but i'm a shy guy, don't know how to voice it out...sigh...

My outdoor experience

Yo..! I spent my last weekend for a KL trip's photo session. It was great even I feel damn tired after the whole day walking, driving, aiming with camera, and capturing. Really have fun and got a lot outdoor shooting experiences too.

Me and my friend meet at the Petaling Street at 1pm, and we started the photo shooting around 1 something until 9 something at night, it seems very long time, but we really enjoyed it. Will plan other times to go other places...hehehe...I'm addicted!

Few weeks ago, mum purposely cames to kl regarded preparing the sister's wedding. We went to the Petaling Street, look for a shop called "lo tim gei", they are selling all the chinese-wedding thingy.....

When the aunties showing and introducing the things that need to buy, I was just sitting right there listen listen listen, and of cause I gave some respond la. But one hour passed, still not finish yet, so I took out my baby, moved around to captured the things, and the boss was joking with me, seems so -_- ....not funny!

One hour passed again, finally they come to the final stage "KIRA BOSS"! The total amount was thousand plus...omg, actually I didn't expect that much, but nevermind, since this only happen once in life for sister, it's worth!

There are something bothered me lately.
Life always comes with something to grow you up, to make you strong.
When the problem comes, don't run away but face it, make your mind to think it is not a problem but is a good experience to learn!
It happened so suddenly, I was not even have time to get ready, everything cames fast and I have to make the decision within the short period.
Sometime there are thousand of opinions and directions from people, but I will keep it for myself.
I know what in my mind. I'm grad that I've made the right mistake.
But now I need a bit give and take.
This is my time to work things out, and I want from this life!

I went to Malacca last weekend, was planning to shot some historical buildings and environment, since Malacca is a historical place. But so regret to tell, I failed to do that, we reached Malacca around 5 something and it was raining. So I couldn't do what I planned, quite fed up la.

Is ok, since I was there, sure I won't just let the chance to be wasted, managed to took some night scenes in Malacca and tasted the good foods. There are some photographs to share, let check that out!

I woke up so early today, it 4.30! Can imagine how early i slept last night? Too tired for the past few days, then yesterday after work, went home, didn't bath at all then straight away went to bed, not purposely want to sleep but just too tired until i can't move my body. I know it's so dirty....but then i have had a freshly bath in the morning, feel fresh! hehehe...
Quite busy for the past few days, life always like that, when you're free, then nothing come to you, but once you start one job...hem.....everything come together. What da crazy world!! Whatever, i still find myself some time to write a post here...
Last weekend, i was capturing some kids photos while i dinner at imbi palace. They are so cute and good to capture, realized kids are the best character ever, even how their facial expression change, they still look so nice....and i like kids!

Today, I went to the career and training fair held in Mid Valley Exhibition Centre, daaam lots of people over there. Everyone needs to fill up the form to get the visitor pass, so I spent quite a long time to wait for a pen to fill up my form, ish...I should keep a pen with myself next time!
Finally, I got my PASS....yea~! What happened after I went inside, erm...I think there nothing special need to mention about, but I just felt the fair is suck! Especially those career fair people, they seem not so friendly to the people who looking for a job, my friend told me about that.
After spent an hour inside, we went to coffee bean to have a fatty ice blended chocolate + CREAM.......so deadly! tomorrow must go body-combat. Okey, it's time to share some photos!

"Pasar malam" is a famous night market in Malaysia, they are located at the different places daily.
The pasar malam got lot of good foods and cheap things, so hardly to control yourself while walking down to the street, sure can spend like crazy....NON STOP!....and you know what.....right down stair of my office just got one on every Wednesday!

Whatever, i went through those days, thats why i'm broke now...sobs sobs....

SeiHei is a "SDND" also stand for Super Duper Naughty Dog.
She just got a new hair cut recently, at first she felt very upset that a Shih Tzu without fur.
She was moody for about two days, and the only thing she did while she was sad - SLEEP, and she purposely sleep on MY BED...and occupied half of my bed!

I can't do anything until she feel good! But she looks cute now!
